Project Management
  • Contribute to organizational business and budget planning process
  • Contribute to the management, operation and performance of the business, to ensure it meets its targets and support the delivery of organizational and strategic goals.

Project Delivery
  • Develop and manage multiple projects, starting from the Pre-Development Phase through Commercial Operation
  • Lead and execute activities from conceptual and preliminary design to project completion and handover to operations.
  • Support new business opportunities in all phases (due diligence, feasibility study, financing, budgeting, etc.) (as required)
  • Act as a local focal point by managing local consultants, contractors and suppliers, as well as coordinate/attend project meetings with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Develop and manage major supply and construction contracts, from the tender preparation to the agreement completion, along with all the project phases (Engineering, Procurement, Construction, and Commissioning).

  • Prepare reports and technical documents to present solar design/ feasibility finding
  • Evaluate the economic, engineering, or pragmatic feasibility of solar installation projects based on architectural plans on existing or new construction buildings
  • Mark up building electrical diagrams to include solar system wiring and interconnections details and develop 3-Line diagrams.
  • Assist the tender in estimating and selling solar systems.
  • Attend pre-construction meetings and/or tender meetings
  • Design, review and approve electrical drawings from draughtman
  • Develop and maintain outside engineering relationships with external companies used for engineering services.

Skills and Qualifications
  • Significant experience at a senior level in project management with 5-10 years of working experience.
  • Fluent in English and reside in Philippines.
  • Degree qualified, preferably from solar, construction background or EPC.
  • Strong project and contract management and excellent organizational skills are fundamental, as is the ability to liaise with people at all levels of the organization.
  • Willing to frequently travel nationwide
  • Developed project/ programme management and planning skills and experience
  • Good understanding of performance management framework and tools in the delivery of business objectives. PMP Certification will be an advantage.
  • Familiar with handling many projects at a time.

  • To identifies, evaluates, develops and execution on the project acquisition opportunities that support the business objectives of the Utility Scale Renewables Business, i.e. Solar, Wind and Storage by applying the combination of technical, project and risk management knowledge to identify and complete development of utility-scale renewable energy generation facility opportunities.

  • To carry out the relevant Operations & Maintenance duties required by the Plant Manager in accordance to the onsite works required for the plant. 

  • To make sure all DC, ELV, LV and MV major equipment such as breaker, isolation switch, switchboard, all electrical drives, all electrical panels, switchgears, batteries, inverters, solar system related equipment and other electrical equipment are in good condition.

  • Remotely monitor Assets to ensure all plants are operating at their maximum capacity and the team can be aware of any issues and perform the needful troubleshooting if needed. 

  • Prepare timely reporting to the Head of Department on all plant’s energy yield, PR, availability, periodic O&M activities and cases (if any). 

  • Ensure that all plants achieved the annual Performance Ratio compared to the designed model. 

  • Ensure that all plants achieved the annual Availability by flagging any downtime events and delegate to the Service team/vendor/service partner to resolve immediately. 

  • Record and track the breakdown cases of Assets in a monitoring platform, with appropriate follow-ups demonstrated to close the cases in the best effort. 

  • Review performance reports and project specific performance data. 

  • Collaborate with Finance and Accounting Department to ensure accuracy of billing to customers and resolve issues if needed. 

  • Manage relationships with stakeholders in solar PV projects i.e., property owners, facility managers, plant co-owners etc.
