Powering the Future: Johor's Renewables Takes Shape with PDTH-DEHSB Collaboration

In a momentous event on March 6, 2024, Permodalan Darul Ta'zim Holdings Sdn. Bhd (PDTH) and Ditrolic Energy Holdings Sdn. Bhd (DEHSB) came together in Johor Bahru to solidify their commitment to renewable energy endeavors. The Memorandum of Collaboration (MoC) signed between these entities signals a strategic alliance aimed at delving into the realms of large-scale solar projects (LSS) and Battery Energy Storage (BESS). Moreover, this collaboration extends to the establishment of the 'Southern Johor Renewable Energy Corridor (SJREC)', which is poised to play a pivotal role in both domestic and international energy landscapes.

Presiding over this significant event were YB Dato’ Ramlee A Rahman, Chairman of PDTH and Chief Executive (Group) of Permodalan Darul Ta’zim (PDT), alongside Mr. Tham Chee Aun, Chief Executive Officer of DEHSB. Their presence underscored the gravity of this partnership, which marks a crucial milestone in the renewable energy trajectory of Johor state.

With this collaboration, PDTH and DEHSB aim to harness the immense potential of renewable energy resources, leveraging advanced technologies and innovative solutions. The 'Southern Johor Renewable Energy Corridor (SJREC)' is envisioned as a beacon of sustainability, catering to both local energy demands and serving as an exporter of renewable energy. This initiative not only aligns with global sustainability goals but also positions Johor as a frontrunner in the renewable energy sector.

As we move forward, the collaborative efforts between PDTH and DEHSB are poised to usher in a new era of clean and sustainable energy solutions, driving economic growth and environmental stewardship in the region.
